To deal with the coronavirus epidemic, the central government has released funds to the states. Modi government has given financial assistance of Rs 17,287 crore to the states. In a meeting chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah, it was approved to give Rs 11,092 crore to the states from the State Disaster Risk Management Fund.
